JOB DESCRIPTIONS BY POSITION
​
Assistant Manager: Second in command (but not less important!), an assistant manager is essential for our busy restaurant. They assist the manager with training duties, help with scheduling, oversee employees, and fill in if the manager has the day off.

Line Cooks: Line cooks make the magic happen in the kitchen. They may be assigned to run one or multiple areas of the kitchen - pizza, grill, fryer, etc. - depending on our staffing and shift needs. Cross training is likely to ensure we have amazing staff ready to cover each area.

Prep Cooks: Our prep cooks ensure that the line cooks have all the ingredients in easy reach and ready for each day. They're preparing our special cheese and sauce blends, as well as ingredients for all of our customer favorites, so orders can get out to the customer as quickly as possible.

Bartender: Our Pizza Castle bartender will support the team by serving beer and wine to our customers directly or providing drinks to Front of House staff to deliver. Basset certification may be required.

Front of House Team (i.e. Cashier, Runner, Phones): This positions play vital and flexible roles to Pizza Castle operations, and will operate our POS system to process transactions at the cashier stations, run out food and drink order to our in-house diners, and answer phone calls. As the FOH team, members must be able to listen when customers have problems or concerns (or praise!) with their orders and respond to their questions appropriately. Age 18+ may be required due to serving of alcoholic beverages.
