Pizza Castle first opened it's doors in 1973 when Richard Jensen and his brother decided to add some pizza to the city's south side. In their tiny take-out spot in Gage Park, they served up authentic, tavern-style pizzas in their iconic Faulds oven.  With thin, crispy crust, homemade sauce with the perfect amount of sweetness and fresh ingredients - they quickly grew their following far and wide, including the crew from Chicago's Best, Andrew Zimmern, and their amazing customers who've been loyal for decades.

After almost 50 wonderful years serving friends in Chicago, the Jensen's moved it's family-owned and operated pizzeria to the south suburbs in Hickory Hills in 2022, now local to where the family grew up. The new store's expanded footprint with dine-in area, patio seating, bar area and gaming machines, allows owner Richard and co-owner sons, Erik and Rick, to spend more quality face-to-face time with their customers. The family is looking forward to another 50 years of specializing in the crispy crust, house-made fennel sausage, and great service they're known for with the amazing customers who make it all worth doing.
